LEARN. PRAY. GIVE. GO.

Missions—deliberate acts to bring the Gospel to the nations—is the responsibility of every local church and believer. Missions Discipleship is the intentional process of equipping local believers to share the Gospel.

Missions discipleship helps churches.

  • Learn the scope of Southern Baptists’ missions efforts locally, in North America, and the world.

  • Pray for specific needs of missionaries, church planters, and others engaged in missions.

  • Give to missions, first through the Cooperative Program by giving to local church and then through the Colorado State Missions Offering in Honor of Nicy Murphy, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions, and the Lottie Moon Christmas offering for International Missions.

  • Go on missions in Colorado, throughout North America, and internationally.

Connect your church with an IMB worker.

We love Missionary Kids!
Each year the International Mission Board invites missionary kids who are transitioning from the mission field to the United States to attend a retreat. Most of the MKs will be attending college after the retreat. Each retreat is financed and hosted by a state WMU. In 2027, Colorado WMU will join Tennessee WMU in hosting the retreat. In addition to recruiting volunteers to serve at the retreat, we will help financially.

Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. God, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
